To a stranger, Gale is the perfect noblewoman: modest, humble, with confidence, grace, and manners in abundance. She's intelligent, but not dangerously so; she has a sense of humor, but only when needed. She always knows the right thing to say, when to say it, and who to say it to. She can dance, sing, play both harp and violin, and rides with perfect form. Kind to others, gentle, and always willing to help, she is well-known and well-liked by most of Faline's aristocracy.

Behind closed doors, however, it's a different story.

The real Gale is self-centered, vain, and sometimes even spiteful, with cripplingly low self-esteem and an intense distrust of those around her. She has no one she considers an actual friend, save for Rain, and while she's not cruel to the servants, she barely considers them human.

There's a stark difference in her relationships with her brothers. Gale is very close to Rain: he's one of the few people she really does like, and her kindness towards him is genuine. While Gale is beautiful, the best word to describe her is 'elegant.' She's tall – about 5'8” or so – and slender, with straight black hair that nearly reaches her hips. She takes great pride in her appearance, and dresses in simple, but expensive, gowns, often pinning her hair up into elaborate styles.
